To unlock our very ambitious growth strategy we have recently extended our portfolio of delivery platforms within both the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical categories.
To enable our growth agenda, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Specialist to join our Process Engineering & Qualification team. You will be responsible for the development, testing, implementation and approval of new utility and equipment solutions across our production sites. From CAPEX projects to compliance-critical systems, you’ll be at the centre of technical decision-making that drives operational success.
About the department: Global Operations Development (GOD) includes Engineering, Automation and packaging as well as the Process and Qualification team. Overall, the department is responsible for executing Fertin’s major technology projects (CAPEX) in both the pharma and non-pharma factories.
Primary tasks:
• Lead and support large-scale CAPEX projects for new production facilities, utilities and equipment covering both replacement of end-of-life equipment, improvements as well as new technologies.
• Prepare technical specifications (URS/FS), manage subcontractors, and oversee commissioning (FAT/SAT) and qualification activities.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and food industry standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production and maintenance teams.
• Contribute to supplier selection, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate across engineering, QA, maintenance, and production to deliver robust, compliant, and future-ready solutions that fit our customers.
This role will require around 20-25 days of international travel per year visiting our different sites and subcontractors.

You’re a structured, results-driven engineer with a passion for innovation and operational excellence. You bring:
• Strong technical knowledge of production equipment, HVAC, compressed air/gas, and purified water systems.
• Proven experience in a similar role—ideally in a regulated industry.
• A degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading CAPEX projects and managing technical documentation.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate across functions and levels preferrable in both Danish and English.
As a person, you thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving technical challenges, and are committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You take a holistic approach and can maintain an overview of complex processes/tasks, but you can also dive into the details when necessary.
